Bags cut down on the waste and processing time of syringes and all but eliminate contamination in the spawn production process.
These bags come with a truly self-healing injection port, and we also retrofit them with a female Luer Lock port for use with an integrated fluid transfer system. Each bag has a capacity of about 1,100 mL, the equivalent of 100 standard culture syringes. Once filled with liquid culture, they can be use to fill syringes or connect to a peristaltic pump for dispensing into bags of pre-sterilized substrate or grain.
